1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using ScoreZap ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

ScoreZap is a mobile application for tracking scores and managing amateur sports teams in real time. The service includes team management, live scoring, push notifications, and game history.

3. Account Responsibilities

You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.
You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
You must verify your email address to access core features.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the App for any unlawful purpose
Impersonate another person or entity
Submit false or misleading scores or game data
Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other users' accounts or data
Use automated systems to scrape or collect data from the App
Interfere with or disrupt the App's infrastructure
Upload offensive, harmful, or inappropriate content in team names or descriptions

5. Content Ownership

Your Content: You retain ownership of all team names, game data, and scores you create. By using the App, you grant us a license to store, display, and transmit your content as necessary to provide the service.
Our Content: The App's design, code, and branding are owned by ScoreZap and protected by intellectual property laws.

6. Team Management

Team owners have full control over their team, including managing members and games.
Manager roles can be granted by team owners and carry scoring and management privileges.
Fans can view team activity but cannot modify scores or settings.
We reserve the right to remove teams or content that violates these terms.

7. Availability & Modifications

We strive to keep the App available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access.
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the App at any time.
We will provide reasonable notice of significant changes.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.
We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App (which is currently free).
We are not responsible for the accuracy of scores or game data entered by users.

9. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from the App's settings.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
Upon termination, your data will be handled according to our Privacy Policy.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of New South Wales.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance. We will notify users of significant changes.
